Dr. Katie Rodriguez-Feo

Dr. Katie was born and raised in Indiana and has a big heart for children! She first visited and fell in love with the South when the University of Alabama offered her a scholarship and membership in the inaugural class of the University Fellows Experience, focused on citizenship and service learning, and in the Computer-Based Honors Program, geared toward research and professional development. She earned her degree in Biology and graduated in 2011. Dr. Katie then headed north to attend the Penn School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2015. Through volunteering in local schools and with children residing in a nearby homeless shelter, Dr. Katie realized that to her, every day spent working with children was a good day. The joy she finds in working with pediatric patients guided her to her residency in pediatric dentistry at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where she received extensive training in treating children with complex medical and behavioral needs (2015-2017). After residency, she was in private practice in Seattle and Houston, following her now-husband Charlie through his surgical training years. Now, Dr. Katie and Charlie are incredibly excited to put down roots in Chattanooga and look forward to raising a family here!

Dr. Katie is a board-certified pediatric dentist, a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and continues to educate herself on the most current techniques to provide the safest and best quality care for her patients. She endeavors to make every one of her patients feel comfortable and to help each one have an excellent visit! She takes a balanced approach to both treatment and prevention, and she believes family education on oral health is the best foundation for a healthy and beautiful smile.

In her spare time, Dr. Katie loves to cook and bake, especially recipes from different cuisines; to play cards and board games; and to boat and hike.
